This trend is linked to two main factors: a growing acceptance of coaches who haven't necessarily played at a high level, and the increasingly exhausting demands of modern club management. The relentless nature of the job, involving detailed planning, constant analysis, and immense pressure, may be leading experienced managers to seek breaks or move into international football.
