During the call, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East was a key topic. The Prime Minister stated a focus on de-escalation and reiterated that the UK would continue to support Jordan in its self-defence.
The leaders also addressed the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. The Prime Minister condemned attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and indicated that further measures to deter this violence would be considered.
