The company behind the R360 all-star rugby start-up has been given an ultimatum: publish overdue accounts or face dissolution. AOTG Sport, responsible for the controversial global series, was scheduled to file accounts with Companies House in July, covering the period up to the end of December 2025.
Earlier this week, AOTG Sport received a strike-off notice, granting two months to submit the outstanding paperwork before being put out of business. The company attributes the delay to an error by its accountants and expects to resolve the issue by early next week.
Despite this hurdle, AOTG Sport maintains that the proposed global series remains on track for a 2028 launch. The R360 project, which aims to feature eight men's and four women's teams in an F1-style circuit of events, was initially planned for October 2026 but was postponed after opposition from eight leading Test nations and the British and Irish Lions.
