The visitors successfully chased Ireland's target of 299 with seven balls remaining in the final match. Rahmat's innings included 13 fours and two sixes, and he formed a record 201-run third-wicket partnership with Sediq Atal, who made 98.
Ireland, after winning the toss and opting to bowl, posted 298-7. Curtis Campher was their top scorer with 96, while Harry Tector contributed 53. Azmatullah Omarzai took three wickets for Afghanistan.
