Mercedes driver George Russell has achieved pole position for the sprint race at the Dutch Grand Prix. This marks his first pole in four races, placing him ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
Russell was 0.041 seconds quicker than Norris. His Mercedes team-mate, Kimi Antonelli, who leads the championship by 59 points, qualified in fifth place, 0.227 seconds behind Russell.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen secured sixth position, while Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, currently second in the championship, qualified seventh. Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso qualified last, reportedly due to a straight-line mode malfunction on his car.
