Celtic are two points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership ahead of Wednesday's fixtures, while several managers are under scrutiny early in the season.

  • Celtic are two points clear at the top of the table, having won five of their six games.
  • Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann is reportedly the most under pressure after a 4-0 home defeat.
  • The domestic transfer deadline has been delayed until Thursday at 17:00 BST.

Celtic enter Wednesday's Scottish Premiership fixtures two points clear at the top of the table, despite recent scrutiny surrounding manager Martin O'Neill and summer transfer dealings. The club has won five of their six games this season, with their only loss being a 5-1 thrashing by LASK.

Meanwhile, several managers across the league are reportedly facing early pressure. Neil McCann, manager of Kilmarnock, is considered to be the most under pressure following a 4-0 home defeat by Dundee United and a 5-1 thrashing by Celtic in their last home league game.

The domestic transfer deadline has been delayed until Thursday at 17:00 BST, allowing clubs to assess their squads after Wednesday's games. However, Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian will not have this luxury as they meet later that evening.
