The Premier League's summer transfer window has now closed, following a deadline day that saw spending exceed £3 billion. However, not all nations have concluded their transfer business, as leagues set their own opening and closing dates for deals.
This means players could still move from England to certain nations, allowing clubs to potentially generate funds or adjust their squads after recent arrivals. Free agents are also continuing to seek new teams, as they are not bound by specific transfer window dates.
Mohamed Salah, for instance, has already moved to Turkey this summer after leaving Liverpool. Clubs in the Turkish Super Lig, including Trazbonspor, can continue to make deals until their deadline on Friday, 4 September. The Saudi Pro League's window remains open for several more weeks, closing on 12 October. Portuguese clubs also have an extended window, with their deadline set for 15 September.
In the UK, the deadline for Scotland is 5pm on 3 September. Clubs in the Netherlands' Eredivisie have until midnight on Wednesday, 2 September, while the Belgian deadline is a day later. For England's Women's Super League, clubs have until 11pm BST on Thursday, 3 September, to finalise their transfers.
