A seven-year-old boy has opened a miniature art exhibition outside his home in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, after spending his summer holiday recreating famous artworks.
Max's "Tiny Gallery" features miniature versions of pieces such as the Mona Lisa and Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night. The theme for his current exhibition, which also includes small croissants and French flags, was inspired by a visit to Paris earlier this year.
Max, who is neurodivergent, said the idea for a miniature gallery came from visiting "lots of cake sheds" near his family's home. His mother, Laura, 39, said Max chose all the themes for each month, which are inspired by things he has seen and loves.
All items in the gallery are available for sale, with proceeds benefiting The Air Ambulance Service. Max has so far raised more than £165 for the charity, which provides emergency care across Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and Derbyshire.
Max said his pieces next month will be inspired by artist Andy Warhol.
