Shane Lowry secured a record 11-shot victory at the Amgen Irish Open, finishing 23 under par after a final round of 63. The 39-year-old, who previously shot a course-record 62 on Friday, began Sunday with a four-shot lead.
Lowry made eight birdies during his final round at the Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg. He sank 45-foot putts at the seventh and 15th holes, sealing his second Irish Open title with a birdie putt at the last hole.
America's 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed finished tied for second alongside Joaquin Niemann on 12 under. Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen finished third on 11 under.
