Several sheep have reportedly been stolen from Diddly Squat Farm, owned by presenter Jeremy Clarkson, in Chadlington, Oxfordshire. Thames Valley Police confirmed they received reports on Wednesday that the animals had been taken from the farm within the last 10 days.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the force has appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
Mr Clarkson, 66, told The Sun newspaper that he discovered the animals were missing when counting his flock with co-star Kaleb Cooper. He estimated the sheep were worth more than £2,000 at market and expressed concern that other sheep from different fields on his farm may also have been stolen.
