Simon Levy has been convicted of two murders following a trial that concluded on Friday. Levy targeted vulnerable women, including sex workers, in a series of attacks across London.
One victim, Sheryl Wilkins, was murdered in August 2025. Another, Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, was killed in March 2025 in south London. A survivor of a January 2025 attack, who was raped and strangled, provided testimony during the trial.
The court heard that Levy, 40, was linked to the murders by DNA, travel card and phone data, and CCTV footage. He has a history of sexual violence, with suspected assaults dating back to 2017 and convictions in 2021 for assaulting women.
After his release from prison in 2024, Levy intensified his attacks on London's transport network, sexually assaulting women on trains. Police attempts to have Levy remanded in jail in May and June 2025, after he was charged with several train attacks and was a murder suspect, were unsuccessful.
