Britain's Neal Skupski and his American partner Christian Harrison have clinched the US Open men's doubles title, marking their second Grand Slam victory as a duo. The fifth seeds navigated the tournament in New York without dropping a single set, culminating in a 6-4 7-6 (8-6) win over sixth seeds Tim Puetz and Kevin Krawietz.
This triumph at Flushing Meadows follows their success at the Australian Open in January, which was their debut Grand Slam as a pairing. Skupski, who had experienced previous US Open final defeats in 2022 and 2025, sealed the victory with a smash at the net after saving a set point in the second set tie-break.
Skupski expressed his shock and relief, stating, "Losing twice and having championship points in the final last year was a tough part of my career, but it's amazing what a year does in tennis." This win also marks Skupski's third doubles Grand Slam title, alongside two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles.
