Jack Shepherd, 38, has been jailed for 20 months with an additional four years on extended licence for violently assaulting his former partner. The assault included hitting her chest with hot barbecue tongs, according to reports.
Shepherd had previously admitted to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and damaging property at Isleworth Crown Court in July. The attacks took place in February and June of last year, leading to his recall to prison.
Shepherd was originally jailed for 10 years in 2018 for the manslaughter of Charlotte Brown, 24, after his speedboat crashed during a first date. Judge Martin Edmunds reportedly stated that the law did not permit adding more time to Shepherd's existing sentence. He is due for release in January 2029.
