Spicerhaart has faced a new complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after a customer alleged the agency continued to send marketing letters despite repeated requests for them to cease. The ASA contacted Spicerhaart following the complaint.
The customer claimed that Spicerhaart continued to send letters even after multiple requests to remove their details from its mailing list. Spicerhaart subsequently addressed the complaint, resulting in the ASA closing the case informally without issuing a formal ruling.
This latest issue follows a separate complaint last year involving Haart, which is part of the Spicerhaart Group. In that instance, a customer challenged photographs used by Haart to advertise a property, arguing they did not accurately reflect its current condition. Haart explained it had used older photographs to protect a sitting tenant's privacy and agreed to remove them until more recent images could be used.
