Tottenham have initiated an approach for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, with an offer reportedly reaching up to £55m. However, the Turkish champions are seeking a fee closer to £65m for the 27-year-old Nigerian international.
In other transfer news, Newcastle's 28-year-old Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is set for a medical at Arsenal. The deal is expected to be worth nearly £80m.
Tottenham have also engaged in positive discussions with Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo. Despite these talks, Liverpool reportedly have no intention of selling the 26-year-old Dutch international.

Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios have had medicals with Fulham after agreements for permanent moves were reached. Hull City are also set to sign Norwegian midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl from Tromso.
