Madeleine Carlisle, daughter of Stephen Colbert, has reportedly resigned from CBS. Carlisle, 30, worked as an associate producer on the network's newsmagazine 60 Minutes for almost four years.
Her departure occurs amid a series of firings and hirings under CBS News' new editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss. 60 Minutes has reportedly faced internal tensions, declining ratings, and multiple staff departures since Weiss was appointed last year.
Recent exits from the show include anchor Scott Pelley, executive producer Tanya Simon, and correspondents Cecilia Vega and Sharyn Alfonsi. Executive editor Draggan Mihailovich and producers Michael Gavshon, Henry Schuster, and Nichole Marks have also reportedly left.
