Dame Prue Leith, Craig Revel Horwood, and Dame Mary Berry have been announced as part of the line-up for this year's Cheltenham Literature Festival. The 10-day event is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 18, featuring more than 500 authors, journalists, and celebrities across various venues in the market town.
Other confirmed attendees include author Maggie O'Farrell, 2025 Booker Prize winner David Szalay, Bridget Jones creator Helen Fielding, and Life of Pi author Yann Martel. Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, Russell T Davies, Katherine Parkinson, Anneka Rice, Richard Osman, Marina Hyde, Sara Pascoe, and Sandi Toksvig are also on the programme.
During the festival, Dame Prue Leith will discuss "growing old gracefully" with Gyles Brandreth and Kathy Lette. Dame Mary Berry is set to chat with former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc about gardening and her forthcoming cookbook. A panel, hosted by Caitlin Moran, will honour the legacy of Dame Jilly Cooper, who died last year at 88, with participants including Katherine Parkinson and Helen Fielding.
Priority tickets for the festival will go on sale on August 27, followed by general sale on September 3.
