Suri has released a new, lower-cost electric toothbrush, the Suri Core 1.0, priced at £65. This model aims to provide a more affordable option while maintaining key improvements seen in the Suri Pro 2.0.
The Core 1.0 features a pressure sensor and a wireless charging cradle. Its handle is made from over 90% bio-circular material, and it uses recyclable heads made from cornstarch and castor oil, which can be returned to Suri for recycling.
Compared to the Suri Pro 2.0, which costs £85 without a charging case or £105 with one, the Core 1.0 has a slightly weaker motor, producing 28,000 sonic vibrations per minute compared to 30,000. Its battery life is up to four weeks, rather than more than four weeks.
The Suri Core 1.0 does not come with a charging case and is slightly shorter than the Pro 2.0, meaning it will not fit or charge in the Pro 2.0 case. However, it includes a plant-based head cover and a travel lock.
