Musicians from the band Talk Talk reunited for a special one-off concert on Saturday, September 5, at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. The event marked the 40th anniversary of their album 'The Colour Of Spring' and served as a tribute to their late singer, Mark Hollis, who passed away in 2019.

The performance featured original members, including founding keyboardist Simon Brenner, alongside Phil Ramocon and Ian Curnow. They were joined by a host of guest artists, such as Mark Gardener from Ride, Ed Harcourt, and Fyfe Dangerfield of Guillemots. Other collaborators included Sophie Barker of Zero 7 and Tim Eisenburg of Sweet Billy Pilgrim.

The setlist included a selection of songs from 'The Colour Of Spring', which represented a musical shift for the band from synthpop to a more experimental, jazz and art pop-influenced sound. Guest performers contributed to various tracks, with Mark Gardener joining for 'Living In Another World' and 'The Rainbow', and Ed Harcourt performing 'I Believe In You' and the Mark Hollis solo track 'The Colour Of Spring'. The evening concluded with 'Life's What You Make It', featuring all guest performers.

The gig followed the recent release of a half-speed 40th-anniversary reissue of 'The Colour Of Spring'.
