Third murder charge over Brent Civic Centre stabbing

A third person has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old David Wynter near Brent Civic Centre.

  • Three teenagers have been charged with murder in connection with David Wynter's death.
  • David Wynter, 17, died after being attacked on Engineers Way on August 25.
  • A 20-year-old man has been charged with assisting an offender.

A third person has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old David Wynter near Brent Civic Centre in Wembley.

Mr Wynter died after he was attacked on Engineers Way at approximately 14:30 BST on August 25. A 15-year-old boy was charged with murder two days later. Two more teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old Jahquarn St Hillaire, were charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Saturday.

The 15-year-old has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on September 24. The 17-year-old and Jahquarn St Hillaire are due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Additionally, Diego Farquharson, 20, of Birchen Grove, Brent, has been charged with assisting an offender and is also due before magistrates on Monday. The Metropolitan Police stated that Mr Wynter's family continues to receive support from the force, and their investigation is ongoing.
