Meta announced on Wednesday that its social network, Threads, is introducing new tools for podcast creators. These features aim to help podcasters promote their shows, grow their audience, and engage with listeners directly on the platform.
The new functionalities include a podcast profile card and banner displayed on a creator's profile and in their posts. Episode links will now appear as tappable cards, allowing users to easily access content. Podcasters can also post transcripts for listeners to read along and tag featured guests, which will display a related card.
Threads will also send creators reminders when new episodes are released, potentially boosting engagement. Additionally, the platform is providing tools that offer insights into audience interaction, with metrics such such as views over time from followers and non-followers.
