Three students from a Sydney boys’ private school have been charged with sexual assault offences in connection with the alleged assault of a teenage girl. Police initiated an investigation after reports that a 14-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted in an alleyway in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last month.

On Thursday morning, authorities conducted search warrants at several homes, seizing electronic devices for forensic examination. During these searches, police also reportedly found two replica firearms, a Glock-style BB gun, three laser pointers, and a number plate believed to have been stolen.

All three boys were arrested and taken into custody. Police stated that two boys were charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company with others and aggravated sexual touching of another person. The third boy was charged with one count of the same offences.

The three teenagers, who are students at The Scots College, have been released on bail under strict conditions. They are expected to appear before a children’s court later this month. The school stated it is aware of the “alleged incident that occurred outside school hours” and is cooperating with police.
