Manchester United midfielder Ella Toone and Arsenal forward Chloe Kelly have not been selected for England's Women's World Cup qualifying matches next month. Toone, 27, misses out after an inconsistent start to the season, while 28-year-old Kelly has also been omitted.
Captain Leah Williamson returns to the 23-player squad, having missed previous matches in June. Chelsea midfielder Lexi Potter, 20, receives her first senior call-up after impressing in the Women's Super League. Uncapped midfielder Erica Meg Parkinson, 18, also returns to the squad after excelling since joining North Carolina Courage.
England is set to play a double-header against Greece. The first match will be in Crete on Friday, 9 October at 17:30 BST, followed by a game in Leicester on Tuesday, 13 October at 19:30 BST. A win in this two-legged tie would see them progress to round two of the play-offs for a place in next summer's Women's World Cup in Brazil.
