Turkish club Trabzonspor have confirmed they have begun negotiations to sign Mohamed Salah. The 34-year-old Egypt international, who departed Liverpool as a free agent at the end of last season, is reportedly in talks to join the club.

Salah enjoyed a successful nine-year spell at Liverpool after joining from Roma in June 2017. During his time with the Reds, he helped secure two Premier League titles, the Champions League, and other major honours. He also won the Premier League Golden Boot four times and was named PFA Player of the Year three times.
The forward scored 257 goals and provided 120 assists in 442 appearances for Liverpool. Salah was also part of the Egypt squad that reached the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
