Day nine of the US Open 2026 is underway, promising a series of compelling matches across the courts. On Armstrong, grand slam champion Mirra Andreeva faces Anastasia Potapova, who previously defeated Coco Gauff in Paris and Amanda Anisimova in the last round.

Later, on Ashe, 2022 US Open winner Iga Swiatek, who has not dropped a set in the tournament so far, will compete against Qinwen Zheng. Zheng enters the match with confidence after a significant comeback against Madison Keys.

A highly anticipated clash features two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka against Elena Rybakina, the Australian Open champion and potential world number one. In the men's draw, 21-year-old Belgian Alexander Blockx, who overcame Flavio Cobolli in the third round, will take on Francisco Cerundolo.
