  • Vinícius Júnior has agreed a new six-year contract with Real Madrid, extending his stay until June 30, 2032.
  • Arsenal had been linked with the Brazil international, who was in the final year of his previous deal.
  • The 26-year-old joined Real Madrid in July 2018 and has won 14 titles with the club.

Vinícius Júnior has committed his long-term future to Real Madrid, signing a new six-year contract that will keep him at the Bernabéu until June 30, 2032. This agreement brings an end to summer speculation regarding the Brazil international's future, with Arsenal reportedly having shown significant interest.

The 26-year-old had entered the final 12 months of his previous deal. Real Madrid's 2025-26 campaign, which saw them fail to win a trophy, and initial uncertainty following José Mourinho's arrival, had reportedly alerted Premier League champions.

A club statement confirmed the extension, noting Vinícius Júnior joined Real Madrid in July 2018 at the age of 18. In his eight seasons, he has played 375 matches, scored 128 goals, and secured 14 titles, including two Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles.

Vinícius shared on Instagram, "Eight years at the Bernabéu are too few … six more years, and for ever!" This move is part of an active summer for Real, who have also brought in new players like Yan Diomande, Bernardo Silva, and Ibrahima Konaté.
