Roland Horne, the founder and CEO of the coffee chain WatchHouse, has shared insights into his varied career. His professional journey includes designing large aquariums for wealthy clients and a period working in politics.
Horne's first business venture was Aquarium Architecture, where he created aquariums for celebrities, footballers, hedge fund owners, and billionaires. He later transitioned into hospitality, founding WatchHouse around 2011-2012, driven by a desire to enhance the UK's café culture.
In addition to his entrepreneurial roles, Horne spent three years working for the Labour Party in the House of Commons. He also worked on Ed Miliband’s 2010 leadership campaign.
