Welsh Fire delivered a dramatic four-wicket victory against Southern Brave in Cardiff, marking the Brave's first defeat in this season's Hundred women's competition. The Southern Brave, who had previously won all five of their matches, were defending a total of 121-5.

Heather Graham was the hero for Fire, striking the winning runs to finish unbeaten on 35. Earlier in the match, Brave's 18-year-old left-arm spinner Tilly Corteen-Coleman took three key top-order wickets, including Fire openers Georgia Voll and Ella McCaughan in the same set, to record figures of 3-27.

Despite being 70-5 at one point, with captain Georgia Wareham falling for 16, Graham, who also took two wickets, was supported by Grace Thompson and Niamh Holland to guide Fire to their second win of the campaign.

Southern Brave had chosen to bat first after winning the toss, a first for the women's competition this season. Laura Wolvaardt top-scored for Brave with 48 runs before being dismissed by Graham.
