West Ham United, currently leading the Championship, salvaged a 2-2 draw against rivals Millwall in a tense London derby. The Hammers, who were seeking a fifth consecutive win, found themselves two goals down at half-time.
Millwall took the lead through goals from Caleb Taylor in the 16th minute and Camiel Neghli just before the break. West Ham's manager, Nuno Espírito Santo, introduced Mohamadou Kanté and Pablo Felipe at half-time to bolster his side.
The substitutions paid off as Kanté scored in the 74th minute, followed by Konstantinos Mavropanos heading home Manor Solomon's cross to level the score with 10 minutes remaining. However, Kanté was later sent off for pulling back Kyrell Lisbie, leaving West Ham to finish the match with 10 men.
The Metropolitan Police had 400 officers present to manage the fixture, which was the first meeting between the clubs since 2012, with no immediate reports of trouble.
