Which? has published a list of five quiet hedge and grass trimmers that earned Best Buy recommendations following its lab tests. The selection aims to help consumers find power tools that are less likely to disturb neighbours or pets.
Among the recommended products is an all-round excellent hedge trimmer, scoring 84%, which was noted for its quick, quiet, and effortless cutting. Another hedge trimmer, scoring 88%, was highlighted as the highest-scoring model, capable of handling tough growth and thick branches without snagging.
For taller hedges, a long-reach trimmer (81%) was recommended for its power and quiet operation. The list also includes an affordable grass trimmer (71%) that received both Best Buy and Great Value badges, being 20% cheaper than the average cost of 39 tested models. Finally, a grass trimmer scoring 80% was praised for outperforming other models, being quiet, and having comfortable handles, making it suitable for large, overgrown gardens.
