World's longest cruise sets sail, offering 371 days at sea from £56,000

The world's longest cruise has commenced, allowing passengers to spend over a year at sea. The 371-day voyage, offered by Explorations by Norwegian, will visit 220 ports and 62 countries.

The sailing, launched by Flight Centre Travel Group in collaboration with Norwegian Cruise Line, departed from Rome on 1 September aboard the Oceania Regatta. This new itinerary surpasses the previous longest world cruise by almost 100 days.

The full world cruise starts at £56,000. Shorter journeys are also available, with 24 sailings split across different regions. For example, Cruise Club UK is offering a 201-night sailing from Sydney to the UK, departing on 17 February 2027, for £34,990 per person.

A 12-night Norwegian fjords sailing aboard Oceania Regatta, departing 19 October 2026 from Copenhagen to Southampton, is available from Iglu Cruise, with prices starting at £1,629 per person including flights.

Every booking for the world cruise includes a premium drinks package, wifi, pre-paid gratuities, speciality dining, and $50 of onshore excursion credit. Guests can choose from three types of excursions: Highlights, Local Discovery, and Active Adventure.
