Willock's Late Strike Sends Newcastle into Carabao Cup Fourth Round

Joe Willock's late goal ensured Newcastle's progression to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, as the Premier League side secured a 1-0 victory over Championship team Millwall. The Magpies were given a scare when Millwall substitute Tairyk Arconte hit a post in the 79th minute, before Willock flicked in Lewis Hall's cross with nine minutes remaining.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace advanced with a 3-0 win against Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park, propelled by two goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen and a third from substitute Daichi Kamada. Bournemouth also moved into the next round, with Ryan Christie scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 triumph over Lincoln, marking Marco Rose's first win as manager.

Sunderland secured a 1-0 victory over Hull, thanks to Chemsdine Talbi's chipped finish in the 71st minute. Bradford also made their way into the fourth round, defeating Leyton Orient 3-1 with goals from Will Swan, Stephen Humphrys, and Nick Powell.
