Wimbledon semi-finalist Arthur Fery has been named in Great Britain's Davis Cup squad set to face Ecuador in September. The 24-year-old, who reached a career-high world ranking of 36 after his unexpected Wimbledon success, expressed pride in representing GB again.

Fery will join British number one Cameron Norrie, Jacob Fearnley, Henry Patten, and Lloyd Glasspool for the tie at London's Copper Box Arena. A fifth player is expected to be added to the team closer to the event.

Notably absent from the squad is former world number four Jack Draper, 24, who has been grappling with long-term injury difficulties, including a persistent arm injury. The best-of-five tie will unfold over two days, 19 and 20 September, featuring two singles matches on day one, followed by a doubles match and two singles encounters on day two.
