London duo Worldpeace DMT have released their second album, 'Stick Around for Tea'. The album is described as a concept album loosely centred on childhood.
Comprising Leo Fincham and Rowan Miles, the duo's new release brings back elements of the sound design from their 2025 debut album, 'The Velvet Underground & Rowan'. Their August mixtape, 'Flowers Powers', had previously moved away from heavy sampling in favour of live instrumentation.
'Stick Around for Tea' features lyrics with dry humour about subjects such as spiders and anthropomorphised guitars. The album is noted for its musicality and pop structure, despite the duo's self-consciously childish vocal style.
