Wrexham forward Nathan Broadhead will miss the upcoming international camp for Wales due to a thigh injury. The 28-year-old was initially named in Craig Bellamy's 28-man squad for the Nations League A fixtures but will now withdraw.
The injury, sustained in training, also means Broadhead will be absent from Wrexham's Championship fixture against Southampton on Saturday. Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson stated, "Broady has strained his thigh in training, which is a shame because he was training well."
In other team news, Parkinson confirmed that Josh Windass and Ben Sheaf are both in contention to feature against Southampton at the Racecourse Ground this weekend. Windass, last season's top scorer, and Sheaf, who has been out with a knee issue, are both available.
