Alice Cooper's got a reputation for being the King of Shock Rock – but this Arizona fan has shown him what it means to be a true champion. Geoff Guy, a humble local resident, has been rewarded by the rock legend himself after returning his lost credit card in an act of honesty that would put even the most seasoned musician to shame.
The chance discovery was made at a petrol station in Payson, Arizona, where Cooper had left his card behind after a morning on the golf course. Guy's wife suggested getting in touch with the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center – and that's how he managed to get in touch with the man himself. After a successful reunion of the credit card, Cooper showed his appreciation by signing over a copy of his latest album, 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper', to Guy.
When asked about the experience, Guy told 12News: "The guy is a legend for people of my generation – that's for sure. I'm really glad I could help get it back to him." And it seems the favour was well-received, with Cooper praising Guy's "good call".
This is just the tip of the iceberg for Cooper, who's set to release his autobiography 'Devil On My Shoulder' on October 8th. The memoir promises a behind-the-scenes look at an incredible career spanning decades – and we can't wait. To coincide with its launch, Cooper will embark on a UK book tour, taking him to some of the country's most iconic venues.
The tour kicks off at Cardiff's New Theatre on October 11th before moving on to Cambridge, London and Brighton. Manchester, Stockton, Glasgow and Wolverhampton are also on the agenda – with tickets available now (and a £25 book included free with each ticket purchase).
But that's not all – Cooper will also be hitting the stage at the Louder Than Life festival in 2026, alongside some of the biggest names in music. And let's not forget his intimate London show last year and the release of 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper', a record that marked the band's first album together in over 50 years.
