The cast announcements for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 are continuing, with the BBC recently confirming a House of the Dragon star and former football professional Shaun Wright-Phillips for this year's line-up. Wright-Phillips has been announced as the 10th celebrity to join the ensemble ahead of the launch show in September.
He will be joining other confirmed stars including EastEnders actor Lacey Turner, former Love Island contestant Dani Dyer, Australian singer Delta Goodrem, hair stylist Chris Appleton, reality star Cach Mercer, TV presenter Will Best, Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, and actor Jaime Winstone.
In addition to the celebrity line-up, Strictly has also confirmed the addition of five new professional dancers to the show, following a recent cull. Rehearsals for the new series are scheduled to begin later this year.
