Sisters Natalie and Nicole Appleton of British pop group All Saints have reunited as a duo for the first time in over two decades. Ahead of their performance at Mighty Hoopla on Saturday, they spoke to UKPulse Media about making new music, the joys and traumas of their All Saints years, and why they don't regret their camp classic film debut.
In an exclusive interview, Natalie and Nicole opened up about their decision to reunite as a duo. 'If we could do the Nineties again, even all the bad parts, we would,' Nicole said, reflecting on their time in the 90s music scene. Natalie added, 'We're still best friends, and it's like no time has passed at all.'
The sisters rose to fame in the late 90s with hits like 'Never Ever' and 'Under the Bridge'. However, their time in the spotlight was not without its challenges. Natalie spoke about the pressures of fame, saying, 'It was a lot to handle, especially at a young age.' Nicole added, 'We were just kids, really.'
Despite the difficulties, the sisters have maintained a close relationship over the years and have even ventured into acting. Their camp classic film debut was in the 2007 hit movie 'St Trinian's', where they played themselves. The film has become a cult classic, and the sisters don't regret their decision to be a part of it. 'It was a lot of fun,' Natalie said. Nicole added, 'We're really proud of it.'
The sisters are now back together, working on new music and performing at Mighty Hoopla on Saturday. When asked about their plans for the future, Natalie said, 'We're just taking it one step at a time and enjoying the ride.' Nicole added, 'We're excited to see where it takes us.'
