Amelia Dimoldenberg has announced that her popular YouTube series, Chicken Shop Date, will be ending after more than 10 years. The show, known for its awkward flirting and deadpan humour, will conclude after one final series.
Over its decade-long run, Chicken Shop Date has hosted more than 100 celebrities, becoming a notable stop for many public figures. Guests have included Oscar-nominated actor Daniel Kaluuya, Sir Paul McCartney, Lando Norris, and Shania Twain.
The series, which originated from a youth club project, gained significant traction with Kaluuya's 2020 appearance, which garnered five million views. Memorable moments from the show include Jennifer Lawrence mistakenly calling Dimoldenberg 'Phoebe' and Louis Theroux's viral 'Jiggle Jiggle' rap.
Dimoldenberg reflected on her time with the show, stating she spent her twenties meeting 'incredible people' and that she 'charmed them' as much as they charmed her.
