A farmer from Cornwall is appealing for a wedding dress and a suit for a cow and a bull to wear in a farming competition next year. Jen Husband, 24, from the Roseland, said her Bluebird Herd animals will participate in a pairs class at Devon County Show.

Five-year-old pedigree shorthorn Longfield Tobias's Waterloo will be the bride, with her son Bluebell Trewithian taking on the role of groom in the fancy dress competition. Ms Husband has requested "anything which resembles a dress of some sort, makes them look glorious and wedding day ready" for the 'moolyweds'.

The family is also seeking a bridesmaid dress for Ms Husband's stepdad, who will lead the animals around the ring. Ms Husband stated that this is their first fancy dress entry, though she has seen other cow competitors in costumes previously.
