The Edinburgh Fringe, one of the world's largest arts festivals, has unveiled its 2026 programme, featuring over 53,000 performances across 258 venues. The festival, which will take place from 5-30 August to 4 September 2026, promises to showcase a diverse range of arts and entertainment, including theatre, comedy, music, and cabarets.
The programme includes a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the manosphere, with many performances and events tackling these complex and timely themes. The festival will provide a platform for artists and performers to explore the impact of AI on society and the issues surrounding toxic masculinity and the manosphere.
Edinburgh Fringe Director, Neil Kerr, said: 'We are thrilled to unveil our programme for 2026, which promises to be one of our most exciting and diverse yet. We are committed to providing a platform for artists to push boundaries and challenge our audiences.'
The festival will take place across the city of Edinburgh, with performances and events happening in venues ranging from small, intimate spaces to large, outdoor stages. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of performances, from world premieres to established shows.
