Singer Jelly Roll has been declared "not welcomed" in Florida's Panhandle by a Republican congressman, following comments he made about US President Donald Trump.
While guest hosting 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Jelly Roll referred to President Trump as a "fat pig" and made other critical remarks about his physique and policies. He also introduced a parody commercial for a fake weight-loss drug called "Donjaro."
Jimmy Patronis, the Republican congressman for Florida’s first congressional district, took to X/Twitter to criticise the musician. Patronis wrote, "Jelly Roll is 100 per cent not welcomed to Florida’s panhandle. I don’t even want to see his bus on I-10." He further called the singer a "loser" and accused him of having "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
The White House has not yet commented on Jelly Roll's remarks.
