Grammy-winning soul singer Leon Bridges recently delivered an intimate performance aboard Belmond’s Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The private gig took place during a journey to Amsterdam, with Bridges performing in the train's Art Nouveau-style Bar Car.
Bridges, known for his retro sound, described the small venue as appealing, stating that larger venues can lead to a loss of intimacy. He was accompanied by singer Norelle Simpson for his set, which included 'Light The Way' and 'River'.
During his time on the luxury train, Bridges stayed in the L'Observatoire suite. This exclusive carriage features a bedroom, bathroom, dining room, library, and tea room. Other high-profile artists, including Lianne La Havas and Honey Dijon, have also performed on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
