A man has been accused of assaulting a bus driver and stealing his vehicle before crashing into parked cars in Telford. Ali Balhad, 33, faces 10 charges relating to three separate incidents between 16 and 18 September.
Seven of the charges relate to an incident on Court Street in Madeley, Telford, at approximately 18:30 BST on Friday. During the alleged incident, the bus was reportedly driven along Park Way towards High Street, where it hit several vehicles before stopping.
West Mercia Police stated the driver was not seriously injured. Mr Balhad was remanded in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on 19 October.
