A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with a crash that killed six people, including two children, on 21 July 2024.
Christopher Cockell, 50, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on 28 October. He faces six counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
The collision on the A61 between Barnsley and Wakefield involved a car and a motorcycle. Shannen Morgan and Shane Roller died along with their daughters, nine-year-old Rubie and four-year-old Lillie. Christopher and Janine Barton, who were on the motorcycle, also died in the crash.
An inquest previously heard that a silver Ford Focus, driven by Mr Roller, 33, collided head-on with a BMW motorcycle, driven by Mr Barton, 56, at approximately 15:50 BST between Staincross and Newmillerdam.
