A man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman who was reportedly drugged and abused by her husband without her knowledge. Sean Peers, 38, admitted one count of assault by penetration on 15 September 2024.
The husband, who cannot be named, is accused of inviting 13 other men to abuse his wife at their family home in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester. He had previously pleaded guilty to 60 offences against his wife.
Today, the husband also admitted a fresh charge of rape and one of sexual assault, both of which are reported to have occurred last summer.
