Rory McIlroy is two strokes behind the third-round leaders heading into the final day of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. The Northern Irishman, world number two, made an eagle on the 18th hole to complete his round with a 72, placing him at 11 under par.
Spain's Manuel Elvira and Italy's Filippo Celli share the lead, both at 13 under par after securing birdies on the final hole. Johannes Veerman, Alejandro Del Rey, and JJ Spaun are one shot behind the leaders.
The leaderboard remains congested, with 20 players within four strokes of the lead. McIlroy is aiming for his second Wentworth title and a record-equalling eighth Race to Dubai title.
