Napoli on the Road in West London has been named the best pizza in the world on the 50 Top Pizza 2026 list, according to the international guide. It is a first-time world champion for the pizzeria.
The guide described Napoli on the Road as a "reference point for those looking for a modern interpretation of Neapolitan tradition, built with talent, ambition, and vision." The restaurant has three locations in Chiswick, Richmond and Soho, and offers four plant-based pies among its menu.
Una Pizza Napoletana in New York took second place. The Lower East Side restaurant had held the top spot for three years in a row. Its menu has six pizzas, and the restaurant reserves one pie for each guest at a reservation.
Confine in Milan placed third, offering tasting menus with wine and cocktail pairings and a 500-bottle wine list focused on whites from Campania. I Masanielli in Caserta came fourth, and Seu Pizza Illuminati in Rome fifth. Pizzeria Sei in Los Angeles also featured in the list.
