Steven Knight, known for 'Peaky Blinders', has spoken about his new Oasis documentary, 'Don't Look Back In Anger'. The film, which he created, wrote, and produced, chronicles the band's Live '25 reunion tour and the reconciliation of Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Knight told NME that the documentary traces a path to "forgiveness and redemption" for the brothers, who had been estranged for 16 years. The film recently debuted at the Venice Film Festival, where it received an eight-minute standing ovation.

Knight first became involved with Liam Gallagher in 2019, directing a music video for his solo single. He was later approached in December 2024 about making the documentary, with both Liam and Noel expressing interest in his involvement.

The film observes the brothers' interactions, from their initial return to rehearsals to moments where their relationship began to thaw, such as Liam grabbing Noel's hand at a Cardiff show. Knight noted that the film concludes with Noel and Liam appearing closer than before, with their children also becoming friends.
