Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film, the concert movie "Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall," is set to premiere globally on October 1 at the New York Film Festival. Director Anderson and Geese frontman Cameron Winter are expected to be present for the screening.
The film documents Winter's performance at New York's Carnegie Hall on December 11, 2025. Filmmaker Benny Safdie co-produced the movie and also served as a camera operator during the production, which was partly shot on 35mm film.
An accompanying album, also titled 'Live At Carnegie Hall,' is scheduled for release a few days after the premiere, on October 9. The film is slated for a wider release this winter, with select US cinema dates announced from November 2026 into January 2027.
This marks Anderson's first concert film, following his work on numerous music videos and the 2015 music documentary "Junun."
